I live and work in [City]. By day I do [work]. By night I read, write, and think about language — how it shapes the way we understand each other and ourselves.

This site is a record of that thinking. Some posts are book notes. Some are observations. Some are attempts to work through a half-formed idea in public. I don't have a consistent publishing schedule and I'm not trying to build an audience. I'm just writing.
